1.	Do you offer builder discounts?
	Yes. Here at Theplanzone.com we value our builders business. We understand how important you are to our industry and it is our privilege to offer all approved builders a 10% discount. Larger discounts are available for volume purchases. Please fill out our builder registration form in the Builder Zone.
2.	How many times can I build this plan?
	When you purchase a plan from ThePlanZone.com, due to copyright laws, you have the right to build one and only one plan depicted in the plans. Building more than one home from the purchased plans is illegal. Please contact our customer service center for more information or to inquire about building a home multiple times.
3.	Can these plans be modified and how long will it take?
	Yes, most plans offered on ThePlanZone.com can be modified. It is common for individuals to purchase a stock plan and have changes made to it. The price for modifications will vary depending on the complexity of the changes requested. A reproducible or cad plan package is required to make modifications. Please fill out the modification request form in the Modification Zone for a customized quote and time estimate. Most modification quotes will be answered within 24 hours.

5.	How many sets of plans will I need to build my home?
	We recommend you purchasing a minimum of 8 sets of plans to build your home depending on where you live. The following individuals will typically need at least one set: your builder, the subcontractors, your lending agency, local building department, architectural review board, and one for yourself.
6.	Can I order more sets once my order has been placed?
	Additional sets of plans can be ordered up to 90 days after the initial purchase of your plans.

8.	What types of shipping are available?
	There are three options available for shipping: Ground: There is no charge for ground shipping in the continental U.S. Ground delivery usually takes 5-7 business days but may vary depending on your location. Ground shipping orders are usually shipped out within 24 hours. (Note: some plan orders may take 48 hours to fulfill.) Second Day: The charge for second day shipping is $35.00. These orders will be shipped the same day if order is placed before 12:00 noon. (Note: some plan orders may take 48 hours to fulfill.) Please call for availability. Overnight: The charge for overnight shipping is $50.00. These orders will be shipped the same day if the order is placed before 12:00 noon. (Note: some plan orders may take 48 hours to fulfill.) Please call for availability.
9.	Can your plans be shipped to Canada?
	Yes, our plans can be shipped to Canada. An additional freight charge will apply. Please contact our customer service center and ask for a quote.
10.	Can I return my plans once my order has been placed?
	Unfortunately, due to copyright laws and the ability to copy plans, your plans can not be returned once your order has been placed. All sales are final. If you would like assistance in selecting your home plan before you order, please contact our customer service center. We will work hard to make your home plan buying experience a success.
11.	What codes or standards are your plans designed for?
	All plans on ThePlanZone.com were designed to meet a national building code at the time of their design, such as the International Building Code.
12.	Are the plans sold on ThePlanZone.com stamped by a Structural Engineer or Registered Architect?
	No, the plans sold on ThePlanZone.com are not stamped by a structural engineer or registered architect. Due to regional requirements such as: high wind areas, seismic, and snow loads and other specific circumstances, your plans may need to be reviewed by a local engineer or architect prior to building. Please talk to your local building department before placing your order.
13.	What is the difference between mirror reverse and right reading reverse?
	This is a very popular and good question to ask. The right reading reverse option is the most popular and practical. When you order the right reading reverse, the plan will be shipped in reverse format with the text reading in the correct manner. Example: If the garage is on the left in the original plan and you order the right reading reverse, the garage will be on the right side when you receive your order. The mirror reverse option is an option that is not recommended but is the only option on some plans. If you order the mirror reverse option it will be shipped in reverse format similar to above, but all the text will read backwards as if you were looking at it in the mirror. This is very hard to read and may cause problems for the contractors. If you have additional questions about these options, please contact us.
14.	How I do check on the status of my order?

17.	What are the benefits of ordering a pre-drawn set of plans compared to a custom set?
	There are several benefits in purchasing a pre-drawn house plan instead of a custom home design. The most important benefits are time and cost. Pre-drawn plans typically cost less than a thousand dollars compared to several thousand for a custom designed plan. Pre-drawn plans can be shipped out within days of your purchase and you can start building your home in no time. Custom designs may take months and even years to complete. Most pre-drawn plans have been sold and built for years, therefore the design of the plan has usually been refined many times to achieve the best possible layout. 	There are two ways to place an order here at ThePlanZone.com. The simplest way is to locate your dream home and choose the plan package, foundation type and options on the right hand side of the page and click on the “Add to Cart” button.
